Larry K. Price, 77, of Mattoon, died at 8:36 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Charleston Avenue, Mattoon, with Rev. Troy Countryman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday at the church. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was born June 28, 1935 in Mattoon, the son of Arnold F. and Helen Hildreth Price. He was united in marriage to Sharon Pratt in Mattoon on January 22, 1956.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Price of Mattoon; 2 sons, Rick (Cindy) Price of Humboldt; Jeff (Melissa) Price of Mattoon; daughter, Laurie Jessen of Chatham; 2 sisters, Josephine (Everett) Steele and Leora Dunbar both of Glen Carbon; 7 grandchildren; Nicholas, Shelby, Maggie, Carter, and Cullen Price; and Shannon and Reid Jessen; 3 nephews and 1 niece.

Larry was a graduate of the Mattoon High School Class of 1953. He worked at Blaw- Knox as an inspector and forklift operator for 37 years and also farmed. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, UAW #916 in Mattoon, and Mattoon VFW. Larry was a veteran of the Korean War.
