Larry Nickell, 58, of Atwood, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL
Larry was born on June 26, 1951 in Decatur, IL, the son of Glenn and Cleo Bandy Nickell. He graduated from Atwood-Hammond High School. Larry was a farmer.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL
Memorials contributions may be sent to the Hammond United Methodist Church or Sparrows Unlimited, Lovington, IL
Larry is survived by his mother: Cleo Nickell, sister: Linda (Harold) Davis, niece: Patty (Mike) Webb, great-nephews: Patrick and Andy Webb all of Hammond, IL, 3 Step-Nephews: David (Tracy) Davis, Steve (Amy) Davis, Scott (Monica) Davis and Step-Niece: Suzanne Davis, Many Step-Nieces and Nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his father: Glenn Nickell, grandparents: Leonard and Orpha Mechling Nickell of Atwood and John and Zora Watts Bandy of Decatur.
Larry will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Thank you to Dr. Marie Perdekamp and Decatur Memorial Hospital fifth floor nurses.
