Larry R. Kresin, 80, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 8:22 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.

Larry was born on December 10, 1936 in Douglas County, IL, the son of Lloyd R. and Bernice L. Baughman Kresin. He married Rheadon Earley on December 6, 1959. She survives.

Also surviving are his children and grandchildren: Todd (Kimara) Kresin and children: Jessica (Kyle) Stewart, Cade Kresin and Peyton Kresin, Susan (Kevin) Quinn and children: Danielle, Tyler (Jessica), Patrick and Trace Quinn and Lance (Ticia) Kresin and children: Kameryn and Lucas Kresin, great- grandchildren: Kaleb Miller, Jalen, Jordan, Jaycelyn, Elizabeth, Madeline and Nathaniel Quinn

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Betty Jones and grandson: Caleb Quinn.

Larry graduated from Tuscola Community High School and the University of Illinois, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Agriculture. He was Vice President of the Tuscola National Bank and served on the board of directors prior to his retirement in 2001.

Larry was a former member and past president of the Tuscola Rotary Club. He enjoyed golfing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Fighting Illini Basketball.
