Larry J. Birch, 65, of Champaign, IL, passed away at 9:10 P.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Kindred Hospital, Sycamore, IL

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Mackville Cemetery, with the Rev. Juhlie Fancher officiating. No Visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Birch was born on July 5, 1941 in Douglas County, IL, the son of Alvin J. and Thelma P. Bushell Birch.

Survivors include: Dear Friend: Steve, 2 Sisters: Marian Brown and husband: James A. of Decatur, IL, Judy Gambetta of Corpus Christi, TX, 3 Nieces, 1 Nephew, 2 Great-Nieces, 2 Great-Nephews, 2 Great-Great-Nieces and 2 Great-Great Nephews. Little Conner.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Birch worked in maintenance at the University of Illinois. He formerly worked as a payroll supervisor at Kraft in Champaign. He was the former co-owner of Rainbow International Carpet Cleaning in Champaign. He was a master gardener, avid collector and he loved antiques. He was a 1960 graduate of Atwood-Hammond High School.
