Korey Snodgrass

Raymond Korey Snodgrass, 60, of Atwood, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2026. Born on February 4, 1966, in Champaign, he was the son of Terry J. and Nancy L. Noe Snodgrass.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Burial will follow the service at the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement, IL

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Korey is survived by his loving partner of 25 years, Kelly Robinson of Atwood. He leaves behind his father, Terry Snodgrass of Clinton, and his brother, Kevin (Melissa) Snodgrass of Mount Zion. Korey also cherished his nieces, Sarah (Markus) Snodgrass and Nicole (Darin) Giles, as well as his uncle, Larry (Janet) Snodgrass, and many cousins and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and numerous extended family members.

Korey had a strong work ethic and dedication to his community, having worked as a union laborer for Labor's Union Local #573 before joining the Village of Atwood Street and Alley Department. He also contributed his skills at Kel's Place in Atwood, where he helped Kelly in various capacities.

A person of diverse interests, Korey found joy in riding motorcycles, grilling outdoors, and immersing himself in music. Known for his big heart and a wonderful sense of humor, he touched the lives of many. His family and friends will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude for the moments shared. Korey Snodgrass will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
