Kenneth W. Warner, 88, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2017 at the C-U Nursing and Rehab Center, Savoy, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, IL. Burial with military rites accorded will follow in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the funeral home.

Kenneth was born on October 27, 1928 in Bement, IL, the son of Fred J. and Florence I. Beebe Warner. He married Lillie Manning on February 9, 1957 in Hugo, IL. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2014.

Survivors include his sons: Michael (Jennifer) Warner of Conway, SC, Craig Warner of Atwood, IL, 3 grandchildren: David (Roxanne) Warner of Myrtle Beach, SC, Heather (Shane) Sanchez of Mesa, AZ and Aaron (Mara) Warner of Springfield, IL, great-grandchildren: Zakary and Isaiah Warner, Asher and Oliver Sanchez, brothers: Dick Warner of Atwood and Larry (Becky) Warner of Bourbon.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the United Church of Atwood.

Kenneth worked as a construction laborer and farmed for many years. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Church of Atwood and the James Reeder American Legion Post #770.
