Kenneth Harold Redman, 82, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 6:40 A.M., Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello, IL

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL with the Rev. Maurice Bolt officiating.

Mr. Redman was born on April 21, 1925 in Lovington, IL, the son of Thomas Emery and Eliana Ann Probst Redman. He married Wilma I. Woollen on August 27, 1947. She preceded him in death on August 4, 1994.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Gene Redman of Champaign, IL, 1 Daughter: Rita Lynn Clarkson of Atwood, IL, 2 Grandchildren: Shon & Chelsey Clarkson, 1 Great-Granddaughter: Alexis Lynn Clarkson, 3 Brothers: Wayne Redman of Bement, IL, Dale Redman of Lake City, IL, Lowell Redman of Bement, IL, 2 Sisters: Betty Kenzel of Monticello, IL and Mary Lou Flenneken of Bement, IL,

He was preceded by his Parents, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Mr. Redman was a retired combine mechanic for Don Moore Equipment in La Place, IL. He was a US Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the James Reeder American Legion Post #770, Atwood, IL. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and he was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's Fan and Chicago Bears Fan.
