Kenneth R. Moore, 93, of Tuscola passed away at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Haven of Tuscola.

Graveside services with military rites accorded will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Joe Carter officiating.

Mr. Moore was born December 20, 1931, in Douglas County, IL the son of Walter and Vina Shadoan Moore.

Survivors include his son: Kenneth L. (Melony) Moore of Tuscola; 3 daughters: Kimberly (Kenneth) Lowe of IN; Kathryn (Pete) Peterson of NM and Kelley Moore of IL and a brother: Paul Moore of Champaign.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 8 sisters.

Kenny was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked as an operator at USI. He then worked at Burnham City Hospital and Mercy Hospital as a groundskeeper.  Kenny enjoyed doing landscaping. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose and a life member of the Villa Grove VFW.

IN lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Tuscola Moose Lodge or to the Villa Grove VFW Post 2876.
