Obituary
Kenneth M. Hug, 71, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the C-U Regional Rehab Center of Savoy, IL.
Ken was a Vietnam Army Veteran and retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Company of Hammond, IL.
As per Ken's request, graveside services with military rites will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Arthur Cemetery, Arthur, IL with Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. Arrangements by Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, IL.
Ken was born on May 26, 1941 in Hermann, MO, the son of Orlando M. and Prietta Steele Hug. He was a member of the Atwood First Baptist Church and the James Reeder American Legion Post of Atwood. He married Betty Moody on December 28, 1963.
Surviving are his wife, son: David (Sandra) Hug and granddaughter: Megan Hug all of Atwood, IL. Two sisters: Vicky (David) Hastings of Bella Vista, AR and Paula (Bill) Case of Hewitt, TX.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Atwood First Baptist Church.
