Kenneth R. Harris, 80, of Tuscola IL, passed away at 10:17 P.M., Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Scott Zorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial with military graveside rites will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mr. Harris was born on March 26, 1927 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Charles and Ella Hamm Harris. He married Ruth Kingery on June 3, 1950 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include: 3 Sons: Steve Harris, Greg Harris and Kevin Harris all of Tuscola, IL, 2 Daughters: Debbie Rich of Tuscola, IL and Vicki Farless of Smithville, TN, 1 Brother: Max Harris of Los Angles, California, 1 Sister: Martha Klinkow of Tuscola, IL, 15 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Linda Sue Harris, 1 Brother: Charles "Charlie" Harris, Jr. and Richard Harris and 1 Sister: Betty Spaith

Mr. Harris was retired from Meadow Gold in Champaign, IL, where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of the Tuscola First Christian Church. He served his country during World War II as a member of the US Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
