Kenneth Christopher "Chris" Adkins, 30, of Tuscola, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Christian County, IL

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Kenneth was born on February 11, 1987 in Urbana, IL, the son of Robert Adkins of Ashmore and Lisa McCall-Kirby of Newman. He married Sarah J. Ainsworth on February 14, 2014 in Urbana, IL. She survives.

Also surviving is his son: Kaden, daughters: Aubrey, Natalie, Gabrielle and Heather, brothers: Roger of Oakland, Bill of Tuscola, Matthew, Bob and Jeramiah all of Ashmore, sister: Wilma Cecil of Charleston, maternal grandparents: Kenny and Sandy Murray of Pesotum.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Jack and Delcia Adkins.

Kenneth worked as a union laborer for Labor's Local 703, Urbana, IL. He loved his family, working and fishing.
