Kay Francis Johnson, 75, of Arcola, formerly of Villa Grove, died at 8:52 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Providence Church, 708 South 9 ^th Street, Mattoon, with Pastor Kent Conover officiating. Burial will follow in the Toledo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kay was born March 13, 1942 in Sturgis, Michigan, the daughter of Peter "Pete" and Irene Parker Nadolny. She married Roy Johnson in Mattoon on December 11, 1971.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Johnson of Arcola; 2 sons, Gary (Kimberly) Johnson of Anderson, South Carolina; Gill Bowers of Villa Grove; brother, Pete (Johnna) Nadolny of Arcola; sister, Kathleen Lamborne of Sturgis, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Cindy Condiff Johnson of Villa Grove; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sons, Greg and Kirk.

Kay operated her beauty salon, Kay's Cabana, in Villa Grove for 25 years. She was an active member of the Providence Church in Mattoon.
