Katherine A. "Kathy" Shoulders, 63, of Atwood, IL, died at 9:51 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Memorial Services will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Kathy was born on June 6, 1950 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Gene and Lillian Stolly Garrett. She married Otis "Lee" Shoulders on October 6, 1967 in Atwood, IL. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2013.

Survivors include her mother: Lillian Garrett of Mattoon, IL, son: Frankie Shoulders of Columbia, SC, daughter: Gena Tuggle of Spring Hill, FL, grandchildren: Kody Shoulders, Makayla Tuggle, Jayda Lee Tuggle, Jacob Lee Shoulders and Joshua Ward Shoulders, brothers; David Garrett of Lovington, IL and Merle Garrett of Atwood, IL

She was preceded in death by her father.

Kathy formerly worked at Trailmobile in Charleston, IL for 18 years. She retired from Kraft Foods in Champaign, IL. She was a great wife, mother, grandma, sister and aunt.
