Judy J. Brannon, 79, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:50 a.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL

Graveside Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, IL.

Judy was born on September 24, 1938 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of John and Florence Winger Dennis. She married Jim M. Brannon on October 5, 1956 in Franklin, TN. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2015.

Survivors include her son: Dennis (Joelle) Brannon of Brandon, FL, daughter: Balery Cooper of Tuscola, grandchildren: Amanda "Dani" (Matt) Conner of Camargo and Ryan Brannon of Champaign, great-grandchildren: Lily Ann Lawrence and Coby James Conner, brother-in-law: Randy Brannon of Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, great-granddaughter: Caitlin Belle Conner, brother: John Dennis, sister-in-law: Sally Gunn, brother-in-law's: Jerry Brannon and John Brannon.

Judy worked as telephone operator for many years. She then worked as a rural postal mail carrier for 25 years out of the Tuscola Post Office until her retirement in 1999.

She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed going to Disney World and riding the roller coasters. Judy loved her pets, especially her dog "Dude" and her best friend "Big Guy" the cat. She loved to attend and support her grandchildren in their school events.
