Judith Ann Wright, 78 of Tuscola, passed away at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Carle Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

She was born on April 13, 1948, in Tuscola, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne R. and Wilma J. Lewis Rahn.

Judy devoted 28 years of her professional life to working as a case worker for the Illinois Department of Human Services in Tuscola, where she tirelessly assisted those in need until her retirement. Her compassion and dedication were evident to all who knew her and benefited from her care.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Tuscola, Judy embraced her spiritual journey with sincerity and grace, finding strength and solace in her beliefs. Her involvement in the church community was a source of comfort and joy throughout her years.

Judy cherished the moments spent with her family and friends. She found great joy in the company of her loved ones, appreciating the laughter, support, and connection they shared.

She is survived by her son, John Wright, and his wife Mia of South Korea; her daughter Michelle Bugos and her husband Brad of Villa Grove; her grandsons Bradley (Kristie) Wright, Cody (Kendra) Coile and Austin Coile; step-grandsons: Tyler (Caitlyn) Bugos and Dylan (Anderson) Bugos, sister Karen King of Tuscola; niece: Lisa (Danny) Maple, nephew: Donnie (Iris) Miller and other extended family members.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Laura Coile, sister: Linda Brann and her cherished grandson Adam Wright, whose memories she held close to her heart.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, Illinois. A Celebration of Life Service will be held following the visitation, where family and friends will gather to reflect on her remarkable life and legacy. Burial will be at the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
