Judith Anne Vukelich, 86, of Tuscola, formerly of Davenport, IA, passed away at 11:55 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Haven of Tuscola.

Judy was born on January 5, 1940 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth "Betty" Showalter Vukelich.

She was a 1957 graduate of Tuscola Community High School. After high school, Judy went on to graduate from Marycrest College in Davenport, with a bachelor's degree in 1961. She taught Spanish at Davenport Central High School for over 30 years prior to her retirement. During her years teaching, Judy enjoyed traveling with her students to Spain and Mexico.

Judy formerly served as a board member for the Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation. Judy enjoyed baking and reading.

Survivors include her niece: Laura (Derrick) Hahn of Trivoli and nephew: David (Jeanne) Vukelich of Tuscola.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Robert "Bob" Vukelich.

Per Judy's wishes, no services will be held.
