Joyce E. Stephenson, 92, of Athur, IL, passed away at 11:48 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Arthur Home, Arthur, IL

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL with Rev. John Stewart officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL.

Joyce was born on May 4, 1932 in Robinson, the daughter of George E. and Mable M. Griggs Tohill. She married Billy K. Stephenson on December 14, 1968 in Georgetown, IL. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2005.

Survivors include her son: Jim (Theresa) Miller of Arthur, son-in-law: Dave Tiffan, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, step-daughters: Kim Davis and Terri Pygott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Debbie Tiffan, step-son: Mike Stephenson, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Joyce formerly worked as a cashier at the Ace Hardware Store in Hudson, FL for 32 years. She loved to play bingo.
