Joyce Lorene Alexander, 70, of Tuscola, IL, died at 7:09 AM, Thursday, February 9, 2006 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, February 13, 2006 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, with Father Allen Kemme officiating. No Visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Alexander was born on May 11, 1935 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Herman and Catherine Julia Ross Beck. She married Gilbert Obert. He preceded her in death. She married Frederick E. Alexander on April 27, 1971 in Joliet, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include: 2 Sons: Gilbert Obert, Jr. of Florida, Patrick Obert of Virginia, 5 Daughters: Terri Rauworth of Springfield, IL, Evelyn Waldroupe of Port Richey, FL, Jaclyn Wells of Herrin, IL, Lisa Edwards of Brocton, IL, Julia Kennedy of Tuscola, IL, 1 Brother: Herman "Bud" Beck of New Lenox, IL, 1 Sister: Charlotte Blaess of New Lenox, IL, 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded by her parents, 1 infant son, and 1 grandson.
Mrs. Alexander was a retired cook, having worked at the Jarman Center, Tuscola, IL. She was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, Tuscola, IL. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.hilligossshraderfh.com
