John W. Milburn, 77, of Tuscola, passed away Saturday morning, July 22, 2023 at his residence.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Faith Baptist Church, 300 East Northline Road, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

John was born on June 28, 1946 in DeKalb, IL, the son of John R. and Wilma Jean Hyre Milburn. He married Terry Lee Alsabrook.

Survivors include his wife, sons: John Milburn, Jr. of Sycamore, IL, Brett (Amy Saffin) Milburn and their sons: Joseph Allen Milburn and Ryan Edward Milburn all of Phoenix, AZ, stepsons: Christopher (Jenise) Montavon and their sons: Mason and Max of Tuscola, IL and Matthew (Amanda) Montavon of Palmer, AK

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John was a manager for GTE for several years in Tuscola. He then worked for Carle Hospital in telecommunications for 23 ½ years before his retirement. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and the Tuscola Moose Lodge.

Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
