John Edward Harshbarger, 57, of Atwood, IL, died at 4:55 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL
Mr. Harshbarger was born on September 29, 1952 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Paul E. and Alberta M. Mathias Harshbarger. He married Paula Norman on June 8, 1974 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include his children: David Harshbarger of Tuscola, Amber Smith and husband: John of Atwood, John Harshbarger, Shane Harshbarger and Shawn Harshbarger all of Atwood, 3 Grandchildren: Megan, Michael and Makayla, 2 Sisters: Anna Mae Stauder and husband: Lyle of Springfield, IL, Rheba Beck of Pierson Station, IL and his buddy: Mickey
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials maybe made to the family.
He worked as a security officer at Christie Clinic.
