John H. Frantz, 81, of Tuscola, IL, died at 1:50 A.M., Monday, July 31, 2006 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Mr. Frantz was born on October 22, 1924 in Arcola, IL, the son of George A. and Edna Wehrli Frantz. He married Joyce J. Krietemeier on June 8, 1960 in Windsor, IL. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2000.

Survivors include: 1 Brother: Rev. Don Frantz of Shelbyville, Kentucky,
2 Sisters: Dorothy Romine of Tuscola, IL, Joan Garner of Crossville, IL, Brother-In-Law: Alan Krietemeier of Charleston, IL

He was preceded by his parents.

He graduated from Arcola High School, Arcola, IL and the Valparaiso Institute of Technology, Valparaiso, IN. Mr. Frantz was retired Illinois State Police Dispatcher for District 10 in Pesotum, IL. He was a member of the Tuscola First Christian Church and the Kingdom Builder's Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Ham Radio Operators Club.
