Joan Quick, 75, of Atwood, IL, died at 12:38 PM, Friday, September 1, 2006 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, Illinois

Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Atwood, 231 North Illinois Street, Atwood, IL, with Dr. R.J. "Jay" Adrain officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Monday, September 4, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.

Mrs. Quick was born on January 30, 1931 in Pampa, Texas, the daughter of John and Mabel Massey Woollen. She married Eugene Quick on December 12, 1948 in rural Atwood, IL. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2003.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Aaron Quick and wife: Barb of Bloomington, IL, 1 Daughter: Cynthia Quick of Atwood, IL, 4 Grandchildren: Jodi Quick, Jacob Vial, Molly Vial and Jennifer Ramirez, 2 Great-Grandchildren: Lane & Aidan Drake

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Son: Johnny Quick, 1 Brother, 2 Sisters

Mrs. Quick was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atwood and the James Reeder American Legion Post Auxiliary. She loved traveling, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
