Jerry Wayne Williamson, 75, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 4:26 P.M., Monday, March 26, 2007 at the VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM., Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 7-9 PM, Friday, March 30, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial with military graveside rites will be held in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Mr. Williamson was born on July 4, 1931 in Villa Grove, IL, the son of P.J. and Irma Goodwin Williamson. He married Nancy Ann Hill on May 23, 1954 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church. She survives.

Other survivors include his brother: Lee Williamson and wife Beverly of Minooka, IL, Several Nieces and Nephews. He was a Great-Uncle to Alia & Kyle Williamson

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Williamson retired as a captain from Eastern Airlines, where he worked as a commercial airline pilot for 31 years. While working for Eastern Airlines he was based out of Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Miami. He was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran. While in the Air Force he achieved the rank of First Lieutenant and he piloted F86 D Sabre-Jets Aircraft. He was a member of the Airline Pilots Association and Demolay.
