Jerry A. Neal, 87, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 2:50 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Tony Crouch officiating.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Neal Cemetery, rural West Frankfort, IL

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2024 at the funeral home.

Jerry was born on February 4, 1937 in Thompsonville, IL, the son of Aaron O. and Stella A. Jones Neal. He married Marie A. Frankenhauser on March 26, 1991 in Paducah, KY. She survives.

Also surviving are his children: Keith (Wendy) Neal, Kathy (Jay) Lindley and Kris (Laura) Neal, step-sons: Richard (Terry) Becker and Joseph (Nicole) Becker, 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law: Carolyn Neal and sister-in-law: Judy Neal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Kevin Neal, brother: Ronnie Neal and his ex-wife: Nadine Neal.

Jerry worked as a welder and pipefitter for Pipefitters Local #597, Chicago, IL. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge and the Masonic Lodge. Jerry enjoyed calf roping and he was an animal lover.
