Jenny Lynd Rush, 58, of Champaign, IL, passed away at 8:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Jenny was born on January 4, 1954 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Burleigh Clayton and Edna Mae Rahn Davis. She graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 1972. Jenny married James Harmon Rush on November 19, 1977 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Champaign, IL. He survives.

Also surviving is her daughter: Jamie L. Jones and husband: Michael D. Jones of Champaign, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jenny worked at the O'Brien Auto Park of Urbana.

Jenny loved cooking and baking so that she could feed others to see their joy and thankfulness. She was very good at crocheting, counted cross stitch and knitting. She would make hats every year to donate to the local homeless shelter for the winter months. Jenny was an extremely giving individual. She will be missed by all.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society.
