Jeffery Allen Wilson, 59, of Tuscola, IL, died at Carle Hospital on February 26, 2025 after battling a long illness.  His wife and children were by his side.

Jeff was born on March 4, 1965 to Eddie and Jane Wilson.  A lifelong Tuscola resident, Jeff married Pattie Carroll on October 22, 1988, and they had two children—Paige and Allie. Growing up, Jeff enjoyed swimming, Little League, and Boy Scouts.  By the time Jeff turned 16, he restored his yellow '57 Chevy with his father.  Jeff always was passionate about working with and driving cars and riding dirt bikes and motorcycles.  As an adult, he loved to race his stock car at Charleston Speedway, and he was an avid NASCAR fan. He attended local car shows, camped, and enjoyed get-togethers and cookouts with his family.

He worked 30 years at Mattoon's R.R. Donnelley before getting sick.  His wife and daughters became his caretakers, enabling him to have the best quality of life possible at home.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, father-in-law, infant brother, sister, and brother-in-law.  He is survived by his wife, daughters, mother-in-law, brother and sister-in-law, among other family.

Per Jeff's wishes, there will be no services besides a celebration of life at a later date.
