Jeffrey Scott Simpson, 50, of Tuscola, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at home.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Jeff is survived by his wife Cindy L. Simpson, son Bryce M. Simpson, daughter Samantha N. Simpson and son Carter N. Simpson, brother Mark S. Simpson and wife: Joy and their children Brittany and Mark, sister Jennifer Simpson, niece Stephanie Simpson and nephew James Simpson and his wife Katie.

Also surviving are his mother-in-law Barbara Courson, brother-in-law Steven T. Courson and wife Marisa and their children Haley and Katie, sister-in-law Theresa Courson and her children Ashley and Amanda Courson.

He was preceded in death by his parents James R. and Eulalia Jean Simpson of Villa Grove, IL and father-in law Harold T. Courson.
Jeff served in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis Army Base in Washington State. He met his wife there and lived in Washington State for 17 years before moving back to Illinois where they had 3 wonderful children. Jeff worked as a Union Carpenter out of Local #44.

His favorite activities were fishing, golfing, watching football, baseball, car racing, basketball and golf. Jeff loved hanging out with his friends and watching his children grow up.
He was a loving father and husband, a great friend and brother and will be missed by all.
