Jeff Knight, 58, of Tuscola, IL. passed away from complications of a sepsis infection on March 20, 2025, at 11:34 PM surrounded by his closest family at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Jeffrey Andrew Knight was born on October 17th ,1966, at Jarman Hospital in Tuscola to James Stanley Knight Jr. and Mary Ruth Ruby Knight of Tuscola, IL. On June 15th, 1991, he married the love of his life Joanna Nichole Alexander (Nikki) of Tuscola, IL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Nikki, their three children: James, Fiancée Ashley, 4 grandchildren Brooklyne, Levi, Harrison, and soon to be born Millie of St. Joseph, IL. Joshua, Fiancée Kara, and grand dog Renegade of Charlotte, North Carolina. Haleigh, grand cats Midnight and Mongo of Savoy IL, and his four dogs: Isabelle, Scamp, Bandit, and Smokey.

He is also survived by his mother, Mary of Tuscola, his brothers: Jerry and Wife Shelley and family of Tuscola, and Jon of Tuscola, Mother-in-law/Father-in-law Sandi and Denny Cruzan of Tuscola, Father-in-law Gary Alexander of Villa Grove, Brother-in-law Gary Alexander, Wife Kristi and family of Tuscola, Sister-in-law Danielle Cruzan and family of Tuscola, Brother-in-law Frank Alexander, Wife Holli and family of St. Joseph, Brother-in-law Rod Alexander, wife Tiffany and family of Naha, Okinawa, Japan.

He was preceded in death by his father Jim, infant sister Amy Beth, Grandpa Orin Ruby, Grandma Esther Ruby, Grandpa Stan Knight, Grandma Dorothy Knight, and various loved uncles and aunts.

Jeff was a very devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He loved his family fiercely and would do anything for them. Whether this was helping with his family's troubles, or cooking a delicious meal, he always did it with a smile. He was a JAK of all trades, there wasn't anything that he could not fix, build, create, or do. Once he had a design in his head, he would bring it to life no matter how challenging. He was as stubborn as they come, but he always put others first. Jeff will be deeply missed and will always be in our hearts.

Services celebrating his life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Tuscola First Christian Church, 100 East Church Street, Tuscola, IL.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday at the church.

Please wear casual attire, Jeff would always wear shorts and wouldn't want it any other way.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
