Janie Babbs, 56, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 8:14 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL
Janie was born on December 31, 1952 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy Julian Berry. She married William E. Babbs on July 1, 1983 in Villa Grove, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include: Daughter: Dorothy "Dottie" Johnson of Roanoke, VA, Son: Justin Babbs and wife: Michele of Charleston, IL, Daughter: Racheal Babbs of Breaux Bridge, LA, Grandchildren: Austin, Ashley, Rileigh and Macie, Sisters: Candy Keefe of Camargo, IL, Nancy Jackson of Camargo, IL, Sharon Waugh of AL and Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter: Kenzie Babbs
Janie loved to read and do water aerobics.
