Janet Mary Nacke Campbell, 65, of Canton, Georgia, formerly of Arcola, Illinois, died at 6:20 AM (EST) Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Janet was born February 4, 1952 in Effingham, the daughter of Casper"Pete" and Mary Catherine Brummer Nacke. She married Donald Campbell in Hawaii in 1989.

Survivors include her husband, Don Campbell of Canton, Georgia; stepson, Shad Campbell of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 4 brothers, Jim (Jeanette) Nacke of Charleston; Bill (Janet) Nacke of Arcola; Mark (Debbie) Nacke of Arcola; John (Jana) Nacke of Arcola; 2 sisters, Connie (Ron) Ghere of Mattoon; Kathy Nacke of Springfield; 10 nieces and nephews; and 17 grand nieces and nephews.

Janet graduated from Arcola High School Class of 1970. She graduated from Illinois Commercial College in Champaign in 1972. Janet worked as a travel agent for Doddson Travel of Champaign for several years. She retired to Atlanta, Georgia where she and her husband owned and operated the Green Thumb Lawn Service. Janet continued to work as an event planner for Premier Global Sports which booked Bowl Game trips. She recently worked as an insurance agent for Sosobee Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia.

Janet was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola. She loved to travel, play golf and read and loved their dog, Chloe.
