James A. Little 73, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 5:45 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the emergency room at the Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL

Services celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Jim was born on January 21, 1942 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Albert and Naomi Simpson Little. He married Karen J. Sodaro on November 11, 1961 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother: Naomi Little of Tuscola, children: Jeffrey (Comanche) Little of Bloomington, IL and their children: Jeremy, Casadie and Christina, Tony (Deborah) Little and their children: Ben, Ian, Ingrid and Isabella of Copley, OH, Jon (Toni) Little and their children: Chase, Chance, Dalani and Dakota of Tuscola, IL and Jillaine (Ramzy) Nasrallah and their children: Madeline, Juliette and Amelie of Flemington, NJ and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jim graduated from Arcola High School in 1960. He worked as the plant logistic manager for Cabot Corporation in Tuscola for 39 years, retiring in 2004. Jim was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge and the Wheels Car Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting with his grandsons and attending his grandchildren's many sporting events.
