Obituary
JAMES C. CARR, 60, of Champaign, IL, died at 11:40 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Illini Heritage Rehab and Health Care, Champaign, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Pastor Jerry Connor officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo, Illinois.
Mr. Carr was born on April 19, 1948, the son of Joseph C. and Barbara C. Glaze Carr. He married Paula Evans on September 7, 1977 in Champaign County, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are five sisters: Barbara Jackson of San Bernardino, CA; Marrieann (Carr) Tegeler of Lake Forest, IL, Brenda Harris of Tuscola, IL; Cathy Canull of Tuscola, IL, and Tina Raymer of Villa Grove, IL.; and two brothers: James Anthony of Tucson, AZ, and Thomas Anthony of Jacksonville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Joseph Carr, and one sister: Tammy Carr.
Mr. Carr was a carpenter and a painting contractor. He was a Chicago Cubs and Elvis fan. He enjoyed working with his hands and working outdoors.
He will be missed by many!
