J. Frank "Old Timer" Mauck, 95, of Hammond, IL, passed away at 5:14 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Jerry Reeder officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL

Frank was born on January 12, 1915 in Wayne County, IL, the son of John William and Ethel Grace Sons Mauck. He married Mona Marie Lourash on April 28, 1946 in Decatur, IL. She preceded him in death on August 19, 1986. He married Evelyn Smith Ryder on February 21, 1989 in Paducah, Kentucky. She survives.

Other survivors include his Daughters: Nancy Pike and husband: George of Champaign, Judy Sentel and husband: Lyle of Arthur, Stepson: Terry Ryder of Hammond, 5 Grandchildren: Steve Thompson of Champaign, Wendy Thompson of Decatur, Sara Sentel, Jennifer Cazel and Joshua Sentel all of Arthur, 8 Great-Granddaughters and 1 Great-Grandson, 4 Sisters: his twin sister: Fern Gift of Moweaqua, Ruth Turner of Peoria, Mary Burks of Decatur and Bessie Thompson of Moweaqua

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 special nephew

Memorials are suggested to the United Church of Atwood or Shriner Hospital for Children, St. Louis, MO

Frank was a retired farmer and truck driver. He was a member of the Flying Farmers of Macon County and the Midwest Truckers Association. Frank worked very hard all of his life.
