Obituary
Hettie Seeley Reece, 89, of Neoga, formerly of Humboldt, died at 8:07 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Rev. Ralph Sikes officiating.
Hettie was born August 19, 1925 in Arcola the daughter of Oliver Franklin and Bessie Ellen Seeley Starwalt.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Grooms of Sullivan, Alice Speck of Jackson, Michigan, sister-in-law, Maye Starwalt, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Willard and Rex Starwalt; 4 sisters, Esther Clark, Mona VonBehren, Charlene Young, Opal Borror; niece, Brenda Starwalt Briggerman; and nephew, Larry Young.
Hettie graduated from Humboldt High School. She retired from USI Chemical Corp in Tuscola where she worked as an executive secretary. She was a member of the Humboldt First Christian Church.
