Herman L. Oye, 88, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 4:20 pm, Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Jason Braaten officiating. No visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Herman was born on July 8, 1925 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Henry and Emily Hermann Oye, Jr. He married Corinne Sudduth on October 8, 1949 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Others survivors include his sons: Michael E. Oye and wife: Sandy of Arcola, IL and Kevin H. Oye of Tuscola, IL, grandchildren: Allison Rooney, Justin Oye and Stephanie Cohen and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Herman L. Oye, Jr., brother: Robert and sisters: Louise, Laura, Hilda, Marie and Frieda.

Herman was the owner/operator of Herman Oye Trucking Company in Tuscola for many years. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church , Tuscola, IL.
