Helen R. Ziegler, 89, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:58 A.M., Friday, June 22, 2007 at her residence.

A Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:30 P.M., with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Private Family Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Public Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Mrs. Ziegler was born on December 14, 1917 in Douglas County, IL, the daughter of Clifford and Stella Lowe Vickroy. She married Dean A. Ziegler on October 14, 1938 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1974.

Survivors include her daughters: Ruth Ann Perry of Palestine, IL, Joan C. Martin of Tolono, IL, Deanna Cox of Greenup, IL, Grandchildren: Vanessa Bunch, Deana Perry, Parrish Shook, Shaunna Buster, Toby Shook, Darren Pease, Bobbie Jo Cox and James Dean Cox, Great-Grandson: Tyler Buster
Brothers: Homer Vickroy of Aurora, CO, Glen Vickroy of Cloverdale, IN

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers: Charley Vickroy, Floyd Vickroy, Paul Vickroy and Robert Vickroy

Helen served four terms as the Douglas County Treasurer.
She was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ and a 50 year member and past matron of the Tuscola Chapter #44, Order of Eastern Star.
She was a member of the Douglas County Republican Women and the Tuscola Women's Club.
