Helen A. Kibler, 85, of Arthur, IL, passed away at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is handling the arrangements.

Helen was born on July 8, 1924 in Streator, IL, the daughter of John N. and Ethel Brown Wever. She married Gearld L. Kibler on June 14, 1944 in Newton, IL. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2008.

Survivors include her children: Bev (John) Tatman of Savoy, IL, G. David (Sharon) Kibler of Philo, IL, Judy (Fred) Juras of Tolono, IL, Larry (Edith) Kibler of Monticello, IL, Betty Taylor of Arthur, IL, Nancy (Steve) Blucker of Arthur, IL, 5 Brothers: Manley Wever of Bedford, IN, Bill (Rosemary) Wever of Sigel, IL, Max (Betty) Wever of Edwardsville, IL, Art (Martha) Wever of New Lenox, IL, John (Goldie) Wever of Salem, IL, 1 Sister: Jean Alexander of Effingham, IL, 15 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Eddie, Richard and Craig Kibler, 1 Brother: Roger Wever, 2 Son-In-Laws: Merrial Taylor and Robert Watkins

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Lincolnland Hospice

Mrs. Kibler retired from the Atwood-Hammond School District where she worked as a cook. Helen was loved very much by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
