Obituary
Harry E. Foster, 86, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Douglas County Ag Building, 900 South Washington Street, Tuscola, IL. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mr. Foster was born May 5, 1931 in Tuscola, IL the son of Theodore "Pete" and Hilda A. Hansen Foster. He married Marilyn M. Palmer on June 22, 1956 in Tuscola, IL. She preceded him in death on January 18, 2013.
Survivors include his sons: Jim (Debbie) Foster and Dave (Barb) Foster all of Tuscola, IL and Eric (Karen) Foster of Thedosia, MO, 7 grandchildren: Kenny Foster, Christopher Foster, JW Foster, Katie Foster, Brittney Foster, Jamie Foster and Sam Foster and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Norma Lawhorn.
Harry was a truck driver and member of the Cartwright United Methodist Church. He served in the US Army.
He enjoyed attending rodeos and loved animals and his family very much.
Memorials are suggested to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
