Harriet R. Bolin, 86, of Hammond, IL, passed away at 9:45 P.M., Monday, December 31, 2007 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Paul Osborne officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M., Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL

Mrs. Bolin was born on March 19, 1921 in Lanesville, IL, the daughter of Henry L. and Harriet Verna Ray Redding. She married Wendell H. Bolin on January 20, 1951 in Hammond, IL. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2005.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Laverne Bell and wife: Micki of Mechanicsburg, IL, 2 Daughters: Harriet Holmes and husband; Terry of Tuscola, IL, Audrey Fleener and husband: Tony of Hammond, IL, 1 Sister: Wilma Nichols of Cordova, TN, 2 Brothers: Ray L. Redding of Decatur, IL, H.L. Redding of Athens, AL, 6 Grandchildren that include Tara Cook and husband: Tim, Hannah Fleener Preston and husband: Robert and Seth Fleener, 1 Great-Granddaughter: Norah Cook

She was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Wendell Gail Bolin & Eugene Bell, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Mrs. Bolin was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hammond Church of Christ. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she very much loved her family and her community.
