Harold G. Goeken, 87, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 4:42 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at Brookstone Estates with his loving wife, family and friends by his side.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery with military graveside rites accorded.

Harold was born on July 13, 1926 in Delavan, IL, the son of Charles M. and Margaret Fink Goeken. He married Mary Elizabeth Shoultz on November 19, 1949 in Pekin, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include Shawn, Mischa and Ali of Rockville, IN, Shana Tyler and Avrie of Leroy, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Ronnie Goeken, 8 brothers and 1 sister.

Harold retired in 1985 from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company, Tuscola, IL. After his retirement he drove school buses for Gould Transportation for 18 ½ years. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge and the Delavan American Legion. Harold served his country as a member of the US Army during World War II in the Philippines. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
