Obituary
Grace C. Dick, 85, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 7:20 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Newman Rehab and Health Care Center, Newman, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Ralph Deal officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Dick was born on June 23, 1924 in Garrett Township, IL, the daughter of Sylvan and Vinnie Jividen Wildman. She married Leo L. Dick on March 14, 1943 in Morris, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include: 1 Son: Ronald Dick and wife: Jimi of Tuscola, IL, 1 Daughter: Pamela Dick of St. Louis, MO, 2 Grandchildren: Chip (Rhonda) Fair of Tuscola and Tiffany (Brian) Larson of Woodstock, IL, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Olivia, Audrey and Ellie Larson
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Tuscola United Church of Christ or the Tuscola Public Library
Grace was an Avon Sales Lady and she sold World Book Encyclopedias. She was a seamstress and expert dress maker. She loved being a homemaker, cooking, canning, gardening and making quilts. Mrs. Dick was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ.
