Glenn E. Hutton, Jr., 73, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 6:30 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Terri Haas officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

Glenn was born October 11, 1948 in Tuscola, IL the son of Glenn E. and Clara M. Vandeveer Hutton, Sr.  He married Barbara J. Lytle June 13, 1997 in Mattoon, IL.  She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Noel Hutton of Hindsboro, Earl (Julie) Hutton of Arcola, Tina (Darren) Kestner of Oakland, Stephanie (Kyle) Walker of Tuscola, Amy (Thomas) Dueker of Tuscola and Brandon Hutton of Mattoon, 13 grandchildren and a brother: Randy Hutton of Pinckneyville, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Villa Grove VFW.  He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.  Glenn loved his dogs.
