Glenda Loy Compton, age 79, passed away January 22, 2022 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital, Mattoon, IL

Glenda was born in Greenup, IL on April 14, 1942 to Robert Logan Adams and Mary Lou Grissom.

Glenda Compton, loving wife of Dave, lived in Tuscola Illinois.  She loved to read her bible and pray with others.  She always had a smile on her face and cherished her time spent with family.  She thoroughly enjoyed her rock garden and plants, sharing them with anyone who came to visit.  Glenda was a loving and caring person and always thinking of others first. She was loved by all her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Neal Springer & Robert Springer and a son, Michael D. Sealey.

She is survived by her husband David Compton, two brothers; Wayne S. Springer Jr. of Afton, Oklahoma, Charles Springer of Baxter Springs, Kansas and a sister-in-law Janet K. Springer of Sun Lakes, Arizona.  A son Burton D. Sealey III (Lynn) of Steger, Illinois; and four daughters – Flaurie J. Walls (Ricky) of Monee, Illinois; Michelle D. Winemiller (James Rehn) of Sauk Village, Illinois, Mary G. Blicken of Tuscola, Illinois and M. Christina Kodrick (Tracy) of Joliet, Illinois, 17 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
