Obituary
Gladys Connour, 98, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:25 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Connour was born on October 16, 1915 in McKee, KY, the daughter of Ben and Mattie Rawlings Gabbard. She married Clyde R. Connour on October 18, 1941. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1961.
Survivors include her sons: Clyde Connour, Jr. of Grifton, NC and Donald L. Connour of Brevard, NC, daughters: Judith A. Gibson and Ruth E. Groves both of Tuscola, IL, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother: Wayne Gabbard of Urbana, IL and sister: Martha Lutz of Melbourne, FL.
She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers,1 sister and son-in-law: Tony Gibson.
