Jeri passed away on May 15, 2016 in the home of her son Ron in Sun City West, Arizona. She was 91 years old. She was born on July 6, 1924 and spent most of her adult life in Tuscola, Illinois. She and her late husband Dale raised their two children on a small farm just west of town. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a volunteer at the Douglas Country Museum, along with Dale for many years. After her husband's passing, she moved to Arizona to live with her son and his wife Judy.

She is survived by her two children, Sandy (Mike) Wagoner of Georgia and Ron (Judy) Smith of Arizona. Jeri also leaves 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be missed by many but welcomed home by the Lord and her husband Dale of 67 wonderful years.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 11, 2016. There will be a graveside service following at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Dale E. Smith.
