George Anna Wilkerson, 86, of Arcola, died at 12:55 AM Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Arcola Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Rev. Bruce Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

George Anna was born Sept. 27, 1927 in Garrett, the daughter of John Vernon and Marie Sievers Hall. She was united in marriage to George William Wilkerson on January 20, 1948 in Plano; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2004.

Survivors include her son, Michael Wilkerson of Arcola; daughter, Kathy (Howard) Schrock of Lake Ozark, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Katrina (Matt) Redd; and Kristi (Brad) Clark all of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Angie Snyder of O'Fallon, Missouri; Lori Schrock of Springfield, IL; Eric Schrock of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Kim (Kirk) Dankenbring of Waverly, Missouri; 10 great grandchildren, Jackson and Kassidy Redd of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Kaylie and Brady Clark of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Michael Snyder of Lake Ozark,Missouri; Michaela Wilson and Megan Snyder both of O'Fallon, Missouri; Holden Haarmann of Columbia, Missouri; Kennedy and Kameron Dankenbring both of Waverly, Missouri.

George Anna was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church and the Mattoon Moose Club. She formerly worked as a clerk at Jarman Hospital in Tuscola for 9 years and was a retired farmer.

She was a caregiver all of her life; loved to read; and was interested in all of her grandkids.
