Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra as celebrant. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery with military graveside rites accorded.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Thursday at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

George was born on April 7, 1928 in Mattoon, the son of Michael A. and Ella Cler Reinhart. He married Barbara C. Ferree on July 12, 1950 in Mattoon. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2018.

Survivors include his son: Michael E. Reinhart and wife Maria of Tuscola, daughter: Mona E. Reinhart of Temple, TX, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Orville Reinhart and sisters: Pauline Weber and Jane Ochs.

George was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. George worked as a building contractor for many years.
