Obituary
Gearld L. Kibler, 82, of Arthur, IL, passed away at 11:45 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with the Rev. Leroy Allison officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.
Mr. Kibler was born on May 2, 1925 in Newton, IL, the son of Oscar and Nellie Mae Chapman Kibler. He married Helen A. Wever on June 14, 1944 in Newton, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include 6 children: Bev (John) Tatman of Savoy, IL, G. David (Sharon) Kibler of Philo, IL, Judy (Fred) Juras of Tolono, IL, Larry (Edith) Kibler of Monticello, IL, Betty Taylor of Arthur, IL, Nancy (Steve) Blucker of Arthur, IL, Sister-In-Law: Edna Kibler of Newton, IL, 15 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Eddie, Richard and Craig Kibler, 5 Brothers, 6 Sisters, Parents and Grandparents, 2 Son-In-Laws: Merrial Taylor of Deland, IL and Robert Watkins of Arthur, IL
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Kibler retired from the Atwood Grain Company, Atwood, IL.
