Gary Lee Wierman, 55, of Atwood, IL, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL with James Bolt officiating.
Visitation will be held from Noon until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL.

Gary was born on August 29, 1962 in Rochelle, IL, the son of Spencer Wayne and Dorothy Mary Landgrebe Wierman. He married Debra Kaye Bolt Quick Taylor on March 22, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives.

Also surviving are his step-children: Nichole Quick of Charleston, Marcia (Rob) Coffey of Mattoon, Aaron Quick of Atwood, Jerod (Brittany) Quick of Arcola and Travis Taylor of Mattoon, step-grandchildren: Marcus Coffey, Braylin Gipson, Thomas Taylor, Jocelyn and Hinley Quick.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Larry Wierman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the James Reeder American Legion Post #770, Atwood, IL

Gary was a 1980 graduate of Atwood-Hammond High School. He was the owner/operator of Scattered Acres Maintenance. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, boating, golfing, playing local softball for many years and going to the beach. Gary had many friends and enjoyed visiting with them all.
