Gary Lytle, 72 of Tuscola, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. at the Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Newman, IL.

There will be no visitation.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Gary was born on May 2, 1950 in Tuscola to Lloyd and Dorothy Baker Lytle.  He married Kim Dillon on March 22, 1975.  She survives.

Others survivors include daughter Jennifer Lewis (Jim) and son Matt Lytle; grandchildren Ashley Criner (Kris), Jordan and Caitlan Lewis; Ke'le' Kirkley; and great-granddaughter Scarlette Criner; his sister Barb Hutton, and several nieces and nephews.

Gary worked as a butcher and meatcutter for over 45 years.  He raised poultry for many years and was active with the Douglas County 4-H poultry program.  He enjoyed gardening and visiting with family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Camargo Champs or Barnyard 4-H clubs.
